ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Miami, I have always embraced a free-spirited approach to life, drawing inspiration from the energy, colors, and culture that surround me. Creativity has been my lifelong passion, guiding me through various artistic expressions—from my early career as a makeup artist and hairstylist to designing gemstone jewelry that reflects the unique energies of the stones themselves. Each creative endeavor has been a journey of self-discovery, leading me to my true calling: contemporary mixed media art.
Following the loss of my grandmother in 2019, I found solace and purpose in painting, inspired by a heartfelt gift of art supplies from a friend. This moment marked the beginning of an artistic exploration where I blend diverse materials and techniques to craft pieces that evoke emotion, connection, and inspiration.
Today, my work is a reflection of my journey—bold, expressive, and deeply personal. Through my art, I aim to connect with people worldwide, offering unique, thought-provoking pieces that transcend boundaries and speak to the soul.
THE EVOLUTION OF ART EVOLVER
Creativity has always been at the core of my journey. Growing up with a mother first in the fashion industry and then in the printing industry, I was naturally exposed to the world of design and production from an early age. Years later, my husband and I started our own printing company, where he managed operations while I worked behind the scenes, bringing ideas to life.
While the printing business is an essential part of my professional path, my artistic passions led me in many directions. I pursue a career in hair and makeup, embracing the artistry of transformation, and later launched a gemstone jewelry line, Tara’s Earthly Creations, where I crafted unique, nature-inspired pieces.
It wasn’t until I discovered canvas painting and mixed media art that I truly realized the full extent of my creative potential. After completing my first painting, someone immediately offered to buy it—a moment that validated my artistic vision and set me on a new path. From there, I began to explore ways to integrate all of my creative disciplines into a singular artistic identity.
This evolution led to the birth of Art Evolver—a fusion of sometimes using elements of jewelry, printing on different items as well as original canvas artwork. Art Evolver represents not just my personal growth as an artist, but the limitless possibilities of creative expression across multiple mediums. It is a reflection of my journey, blending experience, craftsmanship, and innovation into every piece I create.
